Temperature Sensors
Temperature sensors convert ambient or surface temperatures into electrical signals. They are used in many areas, from industrial automation to smart home systems. The common sensor types and their characteristics are listed below.
Main Sensor Types:
• Thermocouple: Consists of two different metals. Ideal for high-temperature measurements. Can be used in a very wide temperature range.

• RTD (Resistance Thermometer): Based on the resistance of metals such as platinum to temperature changes. Possesses very high sensitivity and stability. For example, PT100 sensors can measure temperatures between -200 °C and 850 °C.
